Recipe Makes: 6-8 servings

INGREDIENTS:
2 cups milk
3/4 tbsp yeast
3 1/2 cup flour
2 eggs
2 tbsp sugar
1/4 tsp salt
1 tbsp vanilla extract
4 tbsp butter melted
Corn oil for frying
DIRECTIONS:
- Start off by warming up the milk until it is 100f-115f. Add in yeast and let sit for 5-7 minutes for the yeast to activate. Add the milk and flour to a large bowl and mix together. Let it rise covered with clear wrap for 1 hr or until it doubles.
- Add in the eggs, vanilla extract, sugar, salt, and butter. Mix until well combined. Then cover with clear wrap and let sit for 1 more hr or until it doubles.
- Add corn oil to a large skillet. Once hot add in the batter and fry. (Wet the spoon in between each scoop to help the batter come off easily.)
- Fry each side until it’s golden brown. Enjoy with honey or jam.
