Recipe Makes: 4 servings
Prep Time: 5 minutes
Cook Time: 10 minutes
Total Time: 15 minutes
INGREDIENTS:
1 lb green beans
½ medium onion; diced
4-5 garlic cloves; diced
2 tbsp olive oil
salt to taste
DIRECTIONS:
- Grab a medium pot, fill it with water, and heat on high until the water begins to boil. While we are waiting for the water to come to a boil, wash and trim the ends of the green beans. Once the water is ready, add in green beans. Let them boil for 5 minutes. Careful to not over boil, if they over boil, they will become too soft. Take them out of the water once they have boiled for a little.
- Heat up the olive oil in a deep skillet, once hot add in the diced onions. Sauté until they become opaque, and then add in garlic. Cook until fragrant. Add in green beans and mix until they are well coated in the olive oil and onion mixture. Enjoy!
