Pan Seared Tilapia

Recipe Makes: 5-6 servings

Prep Time: 2 hrs

Cook Time: 20 minutes

Total Time: 2 hrs 20 minutes

INGREDIENTS:

5-6 tilapia fillets

1 tsp salt

½ tsp pepper

1 tsp paprika

1 cup flour; for dreading

corn oil; for frying

lemons; for garnish

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Combine the salt, pepper, and paprika in a bowl. Sprinkle it on both sides of the tilapia. Cover the tilapia with clear wrap and let sit in the fridge for at least 2 hrs.
  2. Warm up the corn oil in a deep pan, and get flour ready in a plate for dreading.
  3. Coat both sides of the fish in flour and place them on the skillet to fry.
  4. Fry each side until it is golden brown. Place the fish on a paper towel to soak up the excess oil.
  5. Squeeze some lemon juice on it and enjoy immediately.
