INGREDIENTS:
2 tsp honey
1 ¼ cup water; warm 100-115 F
2 tsp active dry yeast
1 tsp salt
3 ½ cup all-purpose flour
DIRECTIONS:
- Warm the water until it is around 100-115F. Combine water and honey, and yeast into a mixing bowl. Let it sit and activate for 5-7 minutes.
- Add in flour and salt to the bowl and knead the dough until it all comes together. Cover with clear wrap and let sit for 1 hr.
- Knead the dough and shape it into a ball. Let the dough rise in a well floured bowl for 30 minutes.
- While the dough is rising preheat the oven to 450F with the dutch oven in there.
- Remove the dutch oven from the oven, be careful because it will be very hot. Carefully place the bread into it.
- Cook for 30-35 minutes covered. And then 10-15 uncovered or until the crust is golden brown.
STEP BY STEP INSTRUCTIONS:
