Classic Meatballs

Recipe Makes: 4-6 servings

Prep Time: 15 minutes

Cook Time: 40 minutes

Total Time: 55 minutes

INGREDIENTS:

1 lb ground beef

1 medium onion

1 cup Parmesan cheese

2 cup marinara sauce

½ cup bread crumbs

salt and pepper to taste

1 tsp dried parsley

pasta to serve with

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Grab a blender and blend the onion. Cook the pasta according to the package. Preheat the oven to 350 F.
  2. Then get a large bowl and add in ground beef, blended onion, cheese, bread crumbs, parsley, salt and pepper. Mix it all together so it is well combined.
  3. Then take a tablespoon to help portion the meatballs. Roll out the meat so they become nicely shaped.
  4. Place the meat balls on a baking sheet and bake at 350 F for 10 minutes or until they start to slightly brown up.
  5. While the meatballs are baking, grab a pot and pour in the marinara sauce and add in 1 ½ cup of water to thin up the sauce. Add in the baked meatballs and simmer them on low heat for 30 minutes.
  6. Serve with pasta and more Parmesan cheese. Enjoy!
