Spinach Artichoke Dip (VIDEO)

Recipe Makes: 10 servings

Prep Time: 10 minutes

Cook Time: 30 minutes

Total Time: 40 minutes

INGREDIENTS:

8 oz cream cheese; room temperature

16 oz sour cream

½ stick butter

14 oz artichoke hearts; roughly chopped

12 oz frozen spinach

4 garlic cloves; diced

1 ½ cup mozzarella cheese

½ cup Parmesan cheese

salt and pepper

extra cheese to sprinkle on top

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Start off by preheating the oven to 350 F.
  2. Then get a Dutch oven and turn it on to medium heat. Once the pot is hot add in the butter and melt it. Once it has melted add in the softened cream cheese. Mix and break it apart then add in the sour cream. Mix it all together until the cream cheese is melted.
  3. Next add in both cheeses. Stir them together until they have melted and the dip is thick. Add in the diced garlic.
  4. Add in the roughly chopped artichoke hearts and stir them in, then add in the spinach. Stir it all together. Mix in the greens well so they are no visible clumps. Add in salt and pepper to taste.
  5. Take the dip off heat and transfer it to a baking dish. Sprinkle on some extra cheese on top and bake at 350 F for 15 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  6. Take the dip out of the oven and enjoy!
