Parmesan Baked Asparagus (VIDEO)

Recipe Makes: 4 servings

Prep Time: 10 minutes

Cook Time: 10 minutes

Total Time: 20 minutes

INGREDIENTS:

1 lb of asparagus

2 tbsp olive oil

salt and pepper to taste

1 cup Parmesan cheese

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Start by preheating the oven to 400 F. Then wash and dry the asparagus.
  2. Next cut off the wooden part of the asparagus, it is around 1 inch from the bottom. If you are unsure you can also snap the asparagus with your hands. It will snap right next to the wooden part.
  3. Then lay the asparagus out on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, making sure that they are not over lapping. Drizzle on the olive oil and take a silicone brush to brush and coat all of them.
  4. Crack the salt and pepper to taste and finally sprinkle on the Parmesan cheese.
  5. Bake at 400 F for 8-10 minutes or until the cheese is melted and the asparagus start to look cooked. Let cool slightly and enjoy!
