Cook Time: 7-10 minutes

Total Time: 1 hr 17-20 minutes

INGREDIENTS:

1 ¾ cup flour

1 tsp baking soda

¼ tsp salt

½ cup smooth peanut butter

1 stick butter; room temperature

½ cup brown sugar

½ cup granulated sugar; plus 1/3 cup to roll the cookies in

1 large egg

2 tsp vanilla extract

1 ½ tbsp milk

around 20 Hershey kisses

DIRECTIONS:

  1. In the bowl of a stand mixer beat together peanut butter, and the both sugars. Once combined add in the egg, vanilla extract, and milk. Then mix in the salt and baking soda.
  2. Slowly add in the flour. Once incorporated, cover the bowl with clear wrap and chill the dough in the fridge for 1 hr.
  3. Preheat the oven to 350 F. Take the dough out of the fridge and scoop 1 heaping tbsp out. Roll the dough around in your hands to make a ball, and then roll the dough in the 1/3 cup of sugar that was reserved.
  4. Place the cookies on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake at 375 F for 7-10 minutes. Be careful to not over bake the cookies, take them out of the oven once they start to get slightly brown.
  5. Place the chocolate in the center of the cookie and press it down. Stick the cookies back into the oven for 1 minute, so the chocolate can soften up. Place the cookies on a cooling rack to cool. Enjoy!
