Prep Time: 1 hr 10 minutes
Cook Time: 7-10 minutes
Total Time: 1 hr 17-20 minutes
INGREDIENTS:
1 ¾ cup flour
1 tsp baking soda
¼ tsp salt
½ cup smooth peanut butter
1 stick butter; room temperature
½ cup brown sugar
½ cup granulated sugar; plus 1/3 cup to roll the cookies in
1 large egg
2 tsp vanilla extract
1 ½ tbsp milk
around 20 Hershey kisses
DIRECTIONS:
- In the bowl of a stand mixer beat together peanut butter, and the both sugars. Once combined add in the egg, vanilla extract, and milk. Then mix in the salt and baking soda.
- Slowly add in the flour. Once incorporated, cover the bowl with clear wrap and chill the dough in the fridge for 1 hr.
- Preheat the oven to 350 F. Take the dough out of the fridge and scoop 1 heaping tbsp out. Roll the dough around in your hands to make a ball, and then roll the dough in the 1/3 cup of sugar that was reserved.
- Place the cookies on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake at 375 F for 7-10 minutes. Be careful to not over bake the cookies, take them out of the oven once they start to get slightly brown.
- Place the chocolate in the center of the cookie and press it down. Stick the cookies back into the oven for 1 minute, so the chocolate can soften up. Place the cookies on a cooling rack to cool. Enjoy!
