Recipe Makes: 4-6 servings

Prep Time: 5 minutes

Cook Time: 25 minutes

Total Time: 30 minutes

INGREDIENTS:

1 lb uncooked pasta

3 tbsp butter

3 tbsp flour

1 can evaporated milk

½ cup milk

2 ½ cup of shredded cheddar cheese (save ½ cup to sprinkle on top)

creole seasoning

salt and pepper to taste

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Cook pasta according to the box directions. Preheat the oven to 350 F.
  2. In a skillet melt butter on medium heat and stir in flour. Stir until the mixture thickens and then add in the evaporated milk and regular milk. Heat the milk up and add in 2 cups of cheese. Stir until the cheese is melted. Then add in the salt and pepper, and creole seasoning. Mix until everything is combined and take off heat.
  3. Then add in the cooked pasta. Mix until all of the pasta is covered in the cheese mixture.
  4. Butter up an oven safe baking dish and add the mac and cheese to it. Sprinkle the remaining ½ cup of shredded cheddar cheese. Cover the dish with foil and bake at 350 F for 10-15 minutes or until the cheese is melted. Enjoy!
