Belgian Waffles (VIDEO)

Recipe Makes: 4-6 servings

Prep Time: 5 minutes

Cook Time: 10 minutes

Total Time: 15 minutes

INGREDIENTS:

2 cups flour

¾ cup sugar

1 tsp baking powder

2 eggs

1 ½ cup milk

1 cup butter; melted

1 tsp vanilla extract

DIRECTIONS:

  1. In a glass bowl combine flour, sugar, and baking powder. Mix until well combined then add in eggs, milk, butter, and vanilla extract. Mix until the batter is well combined and thick.
  2. Heat up a waffle maker until at the desired temperature. And pour the batter in. (The amount you’ll put into the waffle maker is depending on the waffle maker size. Some waffle makers will take ¼ cup of batter, while some can take up to ½ cup.)
  3. Let the waffles cool on a cooling rack. It will help them become crispier.
  4. Serve with honey, whipped cream, and all of your favorite other toppings. Enjoy!
