Recipe Makes: 4-6 servings

Prep Time: 5 minutes

Cook Time: 25 minutes

Total Time: 30 minutes

INGREDIENTS:

1 lb pasta; cooked

4 tbsp butter; divided

1 lb chicken; breast or thighs

1 tbsp flour

1 cup milk

1 cup heavy cream

½ cup Parmesan cheese; and extra for sprinkling on top

¼ tsp salt & pepper

1 tsp creole seasoning

2-3 garlic cloves; crushed

DIRECTIONS:

  1. PREP: cook the pasta according to the package and set aside. (I like to turn the pasta on once I start cooking. So that towards the end everything finishes around the same time.)
  2. In a Dutch oven, heat up 2 tbsp of butter and add in chicken. Sauté until golden brown. Once golden, take the chicken out and set aside for now.
  3. Add the rest of the butter and flour into the Dutch oven. Mix until well combined then add in heavy cream and milk. Once well incorporated, add in Parmesan cheese. Cook until melted and well combined. Make sure you are constantly stirring, so nothing burns.
  4. Add in salt, pepper, garlic, and creole seasoning. Mix until everything is combined and add in the pasta and chicken. Weave the cheese into the pasta and chicken.
  5. Serve hot with garlic bread! Enjoy!
