Recipe Makes: 25-30 cookies
Prep Time: 15 minutes
Cook Time: 7-10 minutes
Total Time: 22-25 minutes
INGREDIENTS:
1 cup unsalted butter; softened
1 cup granulated sugar
1 egg
1 tbsp vanilla extract
1 tsp salt
2 tsp baking powder
3 cups flour
DIRECTIONS:
- Preheat the oven to 350 F.
- In the bowl of a stand mixer, beat butter and sugar together. Then add in egg and vanilla extract.
- Mix until combined, then add in salt and baking powder. Mix until combine. Add in flour 1 cup at a time, fully mix in between adding the next cup.
- Roll the dough out on a well-floured surface until it’s 1/8 inch thick. Use a cookie cutter (or mason jar lid) and cut out the dough.
- Carefully place the cookies on to a baking sheet. Bake them at 350 F for 7-10 minutes or until they start to get a little golden brown. But be careful to not burn. Enjoy!
