Dried Pineapple Flowers

Advertisements

Recipe Makes: 1 dried pineapple

Prep Time: 10 minutes

Cook Time: 1-3 hrs

Total Time: 1 hr 10 minutes-3 hrs 10 minutes

INGREDIENTS:

1 large pineapple

Cupcake/Muffin Tin

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Grab the pineapple and twist off the crown. Then grab a knife and cutting board and peel off the rind; or skin.
  2. I like to use a fork and poke holes in the pineapple so I know where to cut. Slice the pineapple as thinly as you can. The thinner you slice it the fast it bakes. And the thicker you slice it, the longer it bakes.
  3. Grab a cupcake/muffin tin and flip it upside down. Place the pineapple slices on the molds, but separate them so none of them are touching.
  4. Bake your pineapple at 220 F, for 1 hr-3 hrs. Depending on how thick your slices are. But I recommend checking on them every 20 minutes to make sure they are not burning. Enjoy!
