Recipe Makes: 4 servings
Prep Time: 5 minutes
Cook Time: 20 minutes
Total Time: 25 minutes
INGREDIENTS:
2 cup spinach
1 cup orzo
½ tsp salt & pepper
1 ½ tbsp butter
2-3 garlic cloves
2 cups water
DIRECTIONS:
- In a deep sauce pan, melt the butter on medium/low heat. Add in orzo and saute for about 5 minutes or until golden brown. Stir occasionally so the orzo doesn’t burn.
- Add in water and place the lid onto the pan. Let boil on medium/low heat for 10 minutes or until the water is gone and the pasta is Al Dente.
- While the orzo is cooking, finely dice the garlic, and roughly chop the spinach. Set aside until ready to use.
- Once the water is gone, add in spinach, garlic, salt & pepper and cook for another 5 minutes. Or until spinach is soft and garlic fragrant. Take off heat. Enjoy!
