Recipe Makes: 6-8 servings
Prep Time: 10 minutes
Cook Time: 20 minutes
Total Time: 30 minutes
INGREDIENTS:
4 large potatoes
1 tsp salt
1 tsp pepper
1/2 cup milk; warm
2 tbsp butter
DIRECTIONS:
- Start out by pealing and cutting the potatoes into cubes (cutting them up helps the potatoes boil faster).
- Toss the potatoes into a pot and fill with water, fill with enough water to completely cover them and put on a lid. Turn them on to high heat and let them boil up. Once they’ve reached a boil, turn down to medium heat.
- After about 20 minutes poke the potatoes with a fork to test them. If the fork goes though the center with no problem, then the potatoes are done. Turn off the heat and drain the water.
- Put the potatoes into a large mixing bowl and start to mash them up. Then add salt, pepper, and milk. Mix until combined, cut up butter into small pieces and add it to the potatoes. Mix until everything is well combined. Enjoy!
