Russian Dulce de Leche Waffle Cake

Recipe Makes: 1 8.5” cake

Prep Time: 10 minutes

Chill Time: 1 hr

Total Time: 1 hr 10 minutes

INGREDIENTS:

1 can dulce de leche

1 stick of butter; room temperature

1 pack wafer cake layers

DIRECTIONS:

  1. In a small mixing bowl, beat together dulce de leche and butter. Beat everything until it is combined well and there are no lumps.
  2. Spread 4 tbsp of cream on to a single layer of the wafer and continue until there is 1 layer left. Place the final layer on top.
  3. Place the cake into fridge with something heavy on top, like a cutting board to help the cake settle, for 1 hour. Take the cake out and slice. Enjoy!

STEP BY STEP INSTRUCTIONS:

Get all ingredients ready.
